IDFC will be coming with Credit cards soon, 31 March 2020 is the target date set by Mr. Vaidyanath eagerly waiting for it. But it is going to be retail oriented bank as per the vision of Mr. Vaidyanath, we can expect a wide range of credit cards

You can search if the Branch is there in your city, if it is you can get the account as Bank currently doesn't have pure online Bank account opening

I have been using IDFC since 2.5 years now. I really admire the bank. Just maintain 25k balance and everything is free: debit card, no annual charges, no cash withdrawal. Maybe the only bank where IMPS transaction are free too. 7% interest rate on savings account on balance over 1 lakh . This is the highest among banks, better than Kotak where you get 7% on entire sum of 1,00,001 and not just on that extra rs 1. Reaching customer care is easy, max wait time of 10 sec. and no need to input ur debit card number or customer id. I will go an compare the customer support to amex customer care. Smooth and Easy. i dont know why they have not been advertising their benefits as much as they should. hardly anyone knows about these good points. really excited to see their upcoming credit cards.
